SENIOR PASTOR

Martin Mock was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio and attended Stautzenburger Business College and the University of Toledo. He enlisted in the United States Coast Guard and married Patricia Shepherd. After being honorably discharged, they spent 3 yrs. in an Outfitter and Guide business in Orofino/Lewistown, Idaho. After selling the business, Marty was hired as a millwright for CCI and Speer Bullets. They then moved to Seattle and graduated from Trinity Bible College (LBI -Issaquah,Wa) with a BA in Biblical Studies, and later moved to Dubuque, IA where he received his M. Div from Wartburg Theological Seminary. They have been blessed with three sons and two daughter-in-laws. They served- Leer Lutheran Church, Leer, MI; First Lutheran Church, Circle, MT; Hope Lutheran, Rhodes, MI; Pastor/Developer of Light of Christ Lutheran, Standish, MI; Prairie Lutheran Parish- First Lutheran, Glasgow; Fort Peck Chapel, Our Redeemer's Lutheran, Nashua; Hinsdale Lutheran; & Saco Lutheran- all in Montana.

INTERN PASTOR

Joel Skindlov- He grew up in a small farming town in Eastern Washington State. He attended Central WA University in Ellensburg and received a BA in Education. He also earned a Master's Degree in School Counseling from Whitworth College in Spokane, WA. He lived in Spokane for five years before attending Luther Seminary in St. Paul. He has worked as a substitute teacher for five years in K-6th grade. Joel met his wife, Melissa, while they were at Camp Lutheranhaven in Coeur d"Alene, ID. Joel has worked at Lutherhaven for seven summers as aa camp counselor, assistant cook and program assistant.

Church Accountant- Jodi Germundson grew up in Williston, met her husband, Jason, in high school, got married, and have moved all over ( New Orleans, Fargo, Langdon, and Minot). Her husband is the Asst. Principal at WHS and they have three sons: Jake, Noah, and Tanner. Jodi graduated from Moorhead State University with a degree in accounting, and, in 2002, became a CPA. She says: I enjoy my work at First Lutheran and I also have a CPA business downtown. We are happy to be living back in Williston among friends and family."

Church Secretary- Lori Yale was born in Kenmare, ND to Ed and Fern Yale and graduated from Bowbells Public High School. Lori has 3 older sisters and has lived in Williston for 22 years. She loves to fish, bowl and play softball. Lori has been the Co-Chair of the Basin United Way for 2006 and 2007 and is a lifetime member of the North Dakota Jaycees.
